Artour Baganov brings more than twenty years of successful finance, operations, and advisory experience to the field of technology, venture capital and other business. His clients intersect a variety of economic sectors and include, among others, Microsoft, Cisco, HP, Amazon.com, University of Washington, U.S. National Technology Transfer Center and the Russian Venture Company. He is also an active private investor, board member, and advisor to entrepreneurs and VCs.
Presently Mr. Baganov is the CEO of Global TechInnovations, an international financing and consulting company. He is also on the Board of Directors of RVC InfraFund and a member of RVC Advisory Committee (Russian Venture Company).
In 2010 Artour co-founded Microsoft Russia Seed Fund and served as the Fund's Managing Director until summer of 2012. Currently he serves as the Fund's Investment Committee Board Member.
Artour has been a founding member and an executive and screening committee board member of the Seattle-based Alliance of Angels, one of the nation’s largest organizations of individual investors and representatives of investment corporations. Artour has lectured on angel and VC investing throughout the United States, Canada, and Europe. He has been quoted in the Worth Magazine, Dow Jones & Company, Business Journal, Seattle Times, Washington CEO, The Angel Investor, Venture Capital Analyst and many other publications.
Over the past 20 years, Mr. Baganov has served on the Boards of over twenty companies and organizations. He was Co-founder, President and CEO of interGlobe Networks, Inc., Seattle, Washington, which he sold in 1996 to a NASDAQ listed holding company. Artour also successfully managed two public companies’ turnarounds.
Mr. Baganov holds two degrees in mechanical and computer engineering from Polytechnic Institute and University of Washington.
