Open Innovations Expo 2013

The Open Innovations Expo is Russia’s first international exhibition of high technology. The exhibition brings together innovative product designers, technological sector entrepreneurs, investors, researchers and politicians from around the world.

According to the Deputy Russian Prime Minister, Chairman of the Open Innovations Organizing Committee, Arcady Dvorkovich, the forum is due to continue briefing businessmen, government officials, scientists, as well as the world and Russian public on achievements in the development of advanced technologies and trends. Russia is prepared to bend every effort to ensure that the people who have money and the people who have ides will meet and cooperate, will originate and carry out projects.

The chief guests of the forum are due to become the Prime Ministers of Russia, Finland and France,—Dmitry Medvedev, Jyrki Katainen and Jean-Marc Ayrault, who will on the first day of the forum meet businessmen and scientists, the contestants of the “100 innovators” youth programme, and will also take up the national strategies of leadership in the hyperlinked world.

The key issue of the 2013 forum is Disruption and Innovation: Game Changers Powering the Global Market. The Innovations Forum will also decide on Russia’s more promising startups.

The very first Open Innovations forum in 2012 was attended by almost 5000 participants. More than 700 experts shared their vision of future technologies, including such acknowledged international business gurus as Richard Branson, Alan AtKisson, Hans Vestberg, Josh Lerner, Steven Burrill and many others.
